In March of 2025, I had the opportunity to work hands-on with Bubble On Campus’ team to bring Bubble to Indiana University.
Bubble on Campus first contacted me through the Sigma Kappa Instagram account in Jan of 2025. For the next four months, I had numerous meetings and exchanged record-breaking emails with the Bubble representatives. We planned a two-part event that would incorporate their campus tour and give my chapter an exclusive opportunity to interact with their products. On March 28th, I organized and hosted a Get Ready With Bubble event at the Sigma Kappa chapter house. Accompanied by the boxes and boxes of product Bubble sent, the participating women got ready for Bubble’s event later that night and made videos showcasing the products.
In the evening, Bubble invited our chapter, ambassadors, and guests to the local Graduate Hotel terrace for a Bubble Madness Watch party. Our event had the largest turnout they had seen throughout the entire tour, and guests got the chance to talk to Bubble representatives, test and take home goodies, enjoy some games and snacks, while watching the sweet-sixteen round of the tournament.
This event was a breakthrough for my chapter in many ways. It was our first sponsored event, which included the largest amount of PR sent to the chapter at the time, and helped members feel included on social media, and made them enthusiastic about engaging with my position and with chapter marketing.
For me, this event was life-changing. I’m very appreciative that Bubble picked our chapter to collaborate with and host. It added a new element to my position that very few women in my chapter have had the opportunity to have: real-life experience with event and public relations management. It also let me share my passions with my chapter by educating them on branding and content guidelines.
